THE HIP NEW VEGETARIAN CONCEPT IN LAUSANNE FLON

THE HIP NEW VEGETARIAN CONCEPT IN LAUSANNE FLON

Lausanne, Monday 24 October 2016 –  Finally a vegetarian restaurant that isn’t just for vegetarians. Bad Hunter opens its doors on November 3rd, 2016.

We strive to create a health oasis where people from all walks of life can stop by and energize regardless of their diet and lifestyle.

CEO, IAN YOUNG

As the saying goes, vegetarian is an old indian word meaning BAD HUNTER. We have decided to play around this concept and explore the delicious and nutritious abundance of vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices that Switzerland has to offer. We believe that a healthy life starts with a healthy meal and that with creativity and the best locally-sourced ingredients, Bad Hunter makes healthy a fun and tasty experience.

Bad Hunter strives to be a catalyst for positive change, promoting a health-conscious mind-set through the distillation of information about a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Bad Hunter looks to revolutionize the way people perceive healthy eating: the aim is to prepare fun, colourful and most of all tasty dishes that are contrary to the idea that vegetarian meals are boring and tasteless.

The entire menu will focus on serving fresh wholesome, mainly plant-based food items that nourishes the body, mind and soul. We will provide honest, delicious & nutritious meals made fresh daily, integrating the use of the best ingredients, super foods and tasty sauces to complement the growing demand for delicious meals that are healthy. With original savoury interpretations of vegetable dishes like their “Blurred Limes Salad” made with nuts, sliced green apples, cucumbers, carrots, beets and sweet corn with a fresh lemon garlic hummus over a bed of seasonal sprouts and spring greens, to a simple yet amazing “Avo-cardio Toast” topped with black pepper to fuel up your day. The dishes are inspired by world flavours, including curries, udon noodle bowls, and some super-food toppings and dressings to adorn their wonderful salads.

The CEO, Ian Young believes that the restaurant will have wide appeal beyond ‘traditional vegetarians’, “We strive to create a health oasis where people from all walks of life can stop by and energize regardless of their diet and lifestyle. We aim to cater to all of those people that just want to have a healthy, yummy meal made fast in a welcoming environment.”

For the interior design, the group has joined forces with Lisa Glatz and Clémence Dubuis, two young and talented interior designers graduates of HEAD (Genève) who have developed a design theme concept around earthy tones and lush green plants reflecting the balanced and transparent philosophy of their food offerings. The use of natural and rustic materials combined with playful contemporary decorative features creates a hip environment that provides the soothing sensation of an urban greenhouse. It’s the perfect place for lunch with friends, after- work drinks or just a relaxing spot to sit back and relax while enjoying an afternoon tea.

The restaurant will be open 7/7 from  11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
